Walk to End Alzheimer’s is Largest Fundraiser Dedicated to Alzheimer’s Care, Support and Research
\r\n\r\n[KENNETT SQUARE, PA] – 90 teams affiliated with Genesis joined the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s® in the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease. Participants for the National Team raised over $140,000 to fund Alzheimer's Association care, support and research programs. Genesis affiliates continue to add to their lifetime achievement level of $2,000,000+ for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
\r\n\r\n“I am continually inspired by Genesis participants joining in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” said Chief Operating Officer, Melissa Powell. “This year, Genesis also made a $25,000 donation so the Alzheimer’s Association will be able to provide much needed education, support services and care to families affected by this devastating disease, as well as fund critically-needed Alzheimer’s research.”
